Beloved New Day Family,
Every sunrise speaks of new mercies, and every new mercy reminds us that God is still moving, still molding, and still making ways for His people.
Grace and peace to each of you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
It is with a thankful heart and a triumphant hope that I greet you in this inaugural edition of the New Day MBC Newsletter. This is more than another church communication—it is a sign that God is still shaping our story, still strengthening our steps, and still stirring our spirits to stay connected, informed, and encouraged.
The Psalmist declared, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). As a church family, we are living in a “new day” of opportunity: a new day to worship with wonder, a new day to serve with sincerity, a new day to grow with grace, and a new day to love with loyalty.
My prayer is that this newsletter will:
- Inspire your faith through testimonies, teachings, and timely truths.
- Inform your mind with ministry moments, meaningful updates, and upcoming missions.
- Increase our unity as we witness the marvelous ways God is moving through the New Day family.
I also encourage you to take ownership of this tool. Share your stories, your successes, your struggles, and your supplications. This is our newsletter, and it will be richer as more voices from our church family are represented.
As we move forward, let us remain committed to Christ, connected to one another, and consistent in our calling. I truly believe that “He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6). God is not finished with New Day, and He is not finished with you.
So I charge you today:
Stand firm in the faith, stay fervent in your fellowship, and step forward in your service. Let us be a church that does not merely celebrate a new day on the calendar but creates a New Day in our character, our compassion, and our community. Together, let us believe boldly, behave biblically, and build beautifully for the glory of God.
In the Cause of Christ,Rev. John F. Payne, Sr.
Pastor, New Day Missionary Baptist Church
